Flashback Friday: Jeffrey Osborne and EPMD

Happy Friday, Soul In Stereo fam. Like we always do at this time, join us as we moonwalk back a few decades to revisit some old favorites.

Charles Clark will make you say woo woo woo.

Jeffery Osborne, Emotional (1986)

Charles said: “The Woo Woo Song” – how can you NOT like a song that lets you say “Woo Woo?”
The song was great back in the day but gained new life in my circle of family and friends when I came back from Korea with a new shot called the WooWoo. We liked it so much that we turned it into a full blown drink that we enjoy every New Year’s. My brother Corey made sure to sing “CAN YOU WOO
WOO WOO!” as he poured himself and others a glass. Thank you Mr. Osborne.

EPMD, Back In Business (1997)

Edd said: “EPMD is one of the most influential rap groups in the game but their work seems to have been largely forgotten. I can’t let that happen. The pair broke up in 1992 due to the usual infighting but they returned five years later with my favorite EPMD album. Stop sleeping on these veterans.”
