Flashback Friday: Jay-Z & Kanye West and Lil’ Kim
Let’s be honest, playas. We’ve seen better weeks. We’ve seen enough tragedies and disappointments to last a lifetime. Stay strong, y’all.
Let’s lighten the mood a bit with some (not so old) favorites
Larry Robinson has his eye on the prize.
Jay-Z and Kanye West, Watch the Throne (2011)
Larry said: “Yes, this IS a throwback. It’s been two years and it’s still hot. Most of the album is quotable and has some of the best beats. What else do you want? That sh!t cray.”

Edward questions a review but still loves an album.
Lil’ Kim, The Naked Truth (2005)
Edd said: “I’m a big Lil Kim fan, and yeah, I really loved her ’05 offering. But to this day I’m still annoyed that the once mighty Source magazine gave this album its coveted Five Mic award. If this was a five-mic classic, Styles P’s latest album must be about 37 mics. Anyway, poor rating aside, this album was very solid. We need this Kim back in the studio.”
