Flashback Friday: Trey Songz and Blu Cantrell

I’m not sure how the weather is in your neck of the Web woods, but over at Soul In Stereo studios it feels more like April than February.

Yes, I’m complaining. My winter wardrobe is going to waste, people! Eh, I guess I’ll have to debut that stuff next winter. Flyness never goes out of style.

I’m done rambling now. Let’s celebrate Friday with a few old favorites.

Kimberly Jackson returns with one of her favorite crooners.

Trey Songz, Trey Day (2007)

Kim said: “Trey’s sophomore effort gave us songs as ‘Wonder Woman,’ ‘Last Time’ and ‘Can’t Help But Wait.’ Trey’s second CD showed us his maturity and grown-man swagger.”

Blu Cantrell, So Blu (2001)

Edd said: “Most of you know that ol’ Blu and I have a checkered past but I’m always happy to give credit when it’s due. Blu’s debut was an extremely promising body of work. Her vocals were truly soul-stirring. Too bad most of the album’s stronger tracks went unnoticed in favor of that highly annoying single. Sorry, Blu, you’re still cool with me. Honest!”
