Chris Brown Fakes Community Service, It’s Time to Face the Music
Every time I say I’m done with writing about my convict Cousin Chris Brown, he turns around and does something worth mentioning.
Well, in this case, he’s barely done anything. From LAweekly.com:
L.A. prosecutors say he violated his probation by essentially faking his community service papers. And police in Richmond, Virginia are implicated in the scam, prosecutors indicate.
The L.A. County District Attorney’s office announced today:
In a motion filed by Deputy District Attorney Mary Murray, the court was asked to decline to accept Brown’s community labor in Virginia due to what appears to be significant discrepancies indicating at best sloppy documentation and at worst fraudulent reporting.
The man couldn’t even go pick up trash when he was asked. He needs to do better.
One month, he’s fighting over girls in a club. Next, he’s fighting way more talented singers over parking spaces. It NEVER ENDS with this guy. People keep asking me why does this dude continues to cause drama seemingly every other week. Wanna know why? Because there are never consequences for his actions.
Remember when he trashed Good Morning America because the reporter dared to ask him questions he didn’t like? I engaged in two very heated Twitter debates with two very prominent rappers who said I didn’t understand “what Chris is going through and what kind of pressure he’s under.” Because being under pressure is just cause to destroy other people’s property. Right.
And don’t get me started on the dreaded 2009 beating of Rihanna, in which 90% of my female friends ran to her defense. “You don’t know what she said to him!” they all yelled. Yeah because anything she said gave him clearance to drive around town holding her in a headlock, bashing her skull and chewing on her ear. Let some guy do that to you and I bet you won’t be so forgiving.
As long as fans – and apparently, even law enforcement – keep making excuses for Cousin Chris he’s only going to get worse. Does he deserve to be forgiven for years of stupidity? Of course he does, AFTER he’s earned forgiveness. That hasn’t happened yet.
I know many of my readers are against corporal punishment, but let your boy keep it real – I grew up getting whooped and I’m a better man for it. Now I’m not telling you to beat your child into the ground, nor am I saying that Cousin Chris needs a Killer Instinct Ultra Combo against his head (although he really, REALLY deserves it). Sometimes, there’s a need for harsh, severe punishment to create a lasting impression. Cousin Chris is WAY overdue.
Prosecutors want Cousin Chris to redo his 180 hours of community service. I say forget that and throw Breezy in jail. If we were in his position, we would have been locked up long ago.
Plus, I bet Adebisi n’ dem would straighten him up real quick.
People, stop making excuses for the man and let him own up to his actions for once. There’s a fine line between being sympathetic and just plain pathetic. That line was crossed long ago.
