Flashback Friday: Nas and The Internet
It’s time machine time! Ready to stroll down memory lane with a playa?
Nas, The Lost Tapes (2002)
Hopefully by the time you read this you’ve already gotten your hands on Nas’ newest album Nasir, which drops today. It’s No. 4 in Kanye West’s series of seven-track album releases. That short running time has a lot of fans worried but I’m not. Nas’ Lost Tapes collection proved that Nas doesn’t need a long run time to deliver quality music.

The Internet, Ego Death (2015)
Speaking of upcoming album releases, The Internet plans to drop their newest LP, Hive Mind, next month. If it’s as good as Ego Death, I’m all for it. While Ego Death was far from The Internet’s first release, it is their breakout record, one that caused a new set of fans to fall in love with their eclectic sound.
