Flashback Friday: Yelawolf and 3LW
Friday’s here, fall is here and so is the good music. Check out what we’ve got cooking up in Soul In Stereo Studios today.
Yelawolf, Love Story (2015)
We’ve had a deluge of album releases in the past few weeks, including the latest from Alabama’s own Yelawolf. His sophomore set garnered mixed reactions, leaning much more pop and country than his debut. Still, that certainly doesn’t mean it’s a bad listen. Yela’s depictions of the rural south always make for an intriguing listen.

3LW (2000)
I’m not ashamed to admit that College Student Edd rocked some 3LW regularly. Their debut album, although understandably juvenile at the time, was filled with breezy, radio-friendly cuts. Plus, they made “Playa Pleathe” into an iconic meme – what’s there to hate?
