Guilty Pleasures: Rae Sremmurd featuring Gucci Mane, ‘Black Beatles’

We all have guilty pleasures, those songs that have no business on our iPods or the tracks we only blast with the windows rolled all the way up in our rides. In this column we share our darkest musical secrets.

Rae Sremmurd is awful and y’all can’t convince me otherwise. Nick Jr.-level bars, weak flow, zero substance. Just trying to spell their name annoys me.

But hey, y’all love ’em so God bless.

I DO have to give them props for “Black Beatles” however. And by “them,” I mean producer Mike Will  Made It, who cranked out one of the best tracks of 2016. Anyone would sound like a superstar riding this beat.
