Flashback Friday: Donell Jones and ODB

Can you believe we’re less than a week away from Thanksgiving and exactly a week away from y’all going HAM in shopping malls?

As we count down the days, reminisce with these old hits.

My bro C.J. Harris shows love to a cover of a classic.

Donell Jones, My Heart (1996)

C.J. said: “Donell Jones’ “Knocks Me Off My Feet” is one of the few cover songs that I like more than the original. I didn’t even know Stevie Wonder made the song first until a few years ago. I think Donell did it justice.”

Also check out:
“In the Hood”
“You Should Know”

Edward shows love to the Dirt Dog.

Ol’ Dirty Bastard, N***a Please (1999)

Edd said: “A few days ago, we recognized the anniversary of the passing of ODB, one of the most insanely gifted artists I’ve ever heard. The dude was completely off the wall, but listen to this album and you’ll see that there was always a method to his madness. Plus, that is an EPIC album cover.”

“I Can’t Wait”
