Progressive Soul Mondays: Mali Music
Jamaal “Mali Music” Pollard is a gospel artist from Savannah, Ga., that has a musical and vocal style that is definitely outside the box. He got a very early start in music by learning how to play piano at age 5 and writing his first song at age 8. Since the age of 11 he has been actively pursuing his music ministry. He was influenced by Sam Cooke and Otis Redding, and has been compared to Bilal and D’Angelo. He has released one album. Enjoy!
