This year at Soul In Stereo, we’re spending 25 days featuring 25 of our favorite underrated Christmas songs — those songs that bring back wonderful memories, yet few people seem to know them. Let’s give those songs the shine they deserve.

Is it just me, or are the most depressing Christmas songs also some of the best? Mariah’s pain is our pleasure and she waxes nostalgic about her absent bae. I hope she doesn’t spend her holiday singing this while staring at the cover of a Nick Cannon Wildin’ Out DVD boxset.
