Here at Soul In Stereo, we’re counting down to Christmas by featuring our favorite holiday tracks. Here’s today’s Christmas classic:

The wife often accuses me of not having enough fun when listening to music. She says I approach music like a science project, dissecting each and every syllable.

Eh, she has a point. But that doesn’t mean I can’t recognize a fun track when I hear it.

TLC’s “Sleigh Ride” is just pure fun. From Left Eye making her wish list to Santa mackin’ in his Cadillac, I dare you not to crack a smile while listening. It’s so goofy and energetic that even a musical curmudgeon like me has to bust out a two-step.
