After a week of teasers, the OG of R&B finally delivers “How Many Ways,” an elegant collabo with Jodeci’s K-Ci that’s exactly what you’d expect – a pair of music vets crooning about their devotion to their favorite lady. It’s that chandeliers and Chardonnay kind of music.

Don’t expect any awkward trap beats or eye-rolling attempts to land on urban radio, here. Keith is firmly in his comfort zone on this one, and that’s exactly why it works. It’s merely an extension of his trademark sound – it’s fresh and current but not desperately straining for mainstream relevance.

It’s a Keith track for Keith fans.

There’s no word yet on a new album but if his next project sounds anything like this track, R&B is in good hands in 2018.
