Flashback Friday: Scarface and Syleena Johnson

It’s Friday, and we’re pretty excited for the weekend at Soul In Stereo studios. We have roughly two weeks until the TV drama “24” returns with a new season, which means I have approximately two weekends to get through seasons six through eight to catch up. Wish your boy luck.

In the meantime (in between time), these old hits will keep me motivated. Check them out.

Scarface, The Diary (1994)

Scarface dropped a new track this week that had the Internet buzzing. That got me all nostalgic for Face’s early work. He’s long been one of the game’s best storytellers.

“Hand of the Dead Body”
“G’s”

Syleena Johnson, Chapter 3: The Flesh (2005)

Syleena’s better known these days as the outspoken cast member of R&B Divas: ATL but before the reality show drama, she had plenty of great albums. Her 2005 effort remains my favorite.

“Another Relationship”
“Only A Woman”
