Flashback Friday: Ameriie and Michael Jackson
Summer is practically here, so this Friday, I decided to share two albums that, for me at least, are synonymous with hot temperatures and good times. I’m sure you’ll agree.
Ameriie, All I Have (2002)
After a near seven-year break, Ameriie (yes, now with two ‘i’s) is back on the scene with a new EP, Drive. It’s a welcome return for a woman who, in 2002, gave us one of my favorite albums of all time. I picked this one up at Best Buy one hot day in July and instantly fell in love with. If Young Edd was reviewing albums back then, this album would have received the coveted 5-star award with no hesitation.

Michael Jackson, Off the Wall (1979)
And speaking of 5-star albums, Off the Wall was MJ’s launching pad into superstardom — the tracklist is like a who’s who of cookout classics. This album will forever be a family staple.
