Kim said: This album just celebrated its 10th anniversary. I loved the CD because the songs were so mature for a girl who was just 21. Alicia made young girls think about topics and ideas that we likely weren’t even paying attention to.

Tevin Campbell, T.E.V.I.N. (1991)

The other day while I was driving around town the Tevin Campbell hit “Alone with You” came on the radio and you would have thought I was hit with the Holy Spirit. I hadn’t thought about this song in years, but as soon as the beat dropped I knew what it was. And after all this time this song and tracks like “Tell Me What You Want Me to Do” sound just as good as they did when I was a pre-teen.
