Flashback Friday: LSG and Junior M.A.F.I.A.
We’re a few days away from June. Call this a hunch but I’m thinking this summer is gonna be unbearably blazing.
This is where I’d usually say something like “THEZE SONGZ ARE BLAZING HOT TOO!!!” but Imma chill. Y’all just check out the bangers below.
LSG, LSG2 (2003)
Why yes, my boys Levert Sweat Gill DID release a follow-up to their 1997 debut. Glad you asked. Compared to their debut, LSG2 was a much more low-key outing, but it’s still a solid release. With three industry veterans on one album, you can’t go wrong. Not sure how Loon got in the building, though.

Junior M.A.F.I.A., Conspiracy (1995)
It’s been years since Biggie’s crew basked in the mainstream spotlight, but they’re still doing their thing. Now known as the Mafia Dons, they dropped a mixtape a few weeks back. But let’s look back at their origins, when Biggie laced some of the best NY anthems of the 90s.
