New Music: Usher, “Clueless”

Usher’s attempts at a comeback have been hit or miss to say the least. Most of the material we’ve heard from upcoming album UR haven’t been very inspired.

That’s probably why the album still doesn’t have a release date.

But Usher’s latest release, “Clueless,” is a step in the right direction. He doesn’t try anything fancy here, just alluring vocals backed by a subtle bass. His voice carries the track — no gimmicks needed.

I’d say it’s the best thing we’ve heard from him since “Good Kisser” back in the spring. Check it out yourself and let us know what you think in the comments.
