Flashback Friday: Childish Gambino and Fabolous
It’s the final Friday of April and I’m sitting around wondering where January went. Time waits for no playa.
Here’s some music to get you through you day and usher in the weekend.
Javacia loves being Childish.
Childish Gambino, Camp (2011)
Jai said: “If I were born a boy, I’d probably be Childish Gambino.”
Also check out:
“Bonfire”
“L.E.S.”
Edward wishes rappers knew how to spell their names correctly.
Fabolous, From Nothin’ to Somethin’ (2007)
Edd said: “Fab has had a weird career. As a featured artist on his peers’ tracks, he always steals the show. His mixtapes usually are just as astounding. But his albums? Eh, they typically underwhelm. His 2007 album is a bright spot, however. It’s arguably his strongest LP.”
Also check out:
“Joke’s on You,” featuring Pusha T
“Real Playa Like,” featuring Lloyd
