I’ve already put y’all on to the 50 best albums of 2022, but I’m not through yet! Let’s talk about these R&B hits!

As I mentioned in the Albums of the Year post, I wasn’t thrilled with many R&B projects this year. There were lots of solid albums, yeah, but few GREAT ones.

And you know me – I only associate with greatness, playa.

That doesn’t mean that we didn’t get great R&B songs on those same albums, though. While there was no absolute standout, there were dozens and dozens of great tracks from veteran hitmakers and newcomers alike.
