Clipse, Til the Casket Drops (2009)

By the time you read this, we’ll have our hands on Pusha T’s latest album DAYTONA – don’t worry, stay tuned for a review on that one. In the meantime, check out Clipse’s final album. Sure, it wasn’t nearly as good as their incredible debut and sophomore releases but it’s still a strong farewell to one of rap’s best duos.

UPDATE: Check out our review of DAYTONA here!

Trey Songz, Ready (2009)

Is Ready a classic? That was the topic of discussion a few days ago on Twitter. While the classic topic is a bit of a stretch, I will agree that it’s Trey’s best work by far and still stands as one of the better R&B releases of the past decade. Not a bad legacy, classic or not.
