Flashback Friday: Mint Condition and Queen Pen
Well whaddya know, it’s Friday yet again.
Not that we’re complaining.
You’re in the right place if you want to reminisce about throwback hits.
Mint Condition, From the Mint Factory (1993)
Is From the Mint Factory one of the greatest albums of the 90s? The homies over at the Soul In Stereo Cypher certainly think so. And with an tracklist filled with memorable cuts fueled by Stokley’s impeccable vocals, it’s hard to argue with them. Early 90s R&B doesn’t get any better.

Queen Pen, My Melody (1997)
Man, back in 1997, I just KNEW Teddy Riley’s protege Queen Pen was destined for stardom. She turned heads with her verse on Blackstreet’s “No Diggity” but came even harder with her own hit a few months later. Her solo debut was relatively solid too. If you missed out on it back in 1997, catch up.

Mint Condition and Queen Pen were two awesome artists in the mid to late 90’s. There music was great and stands the test of time. I listen to Mint Condition today. Also, I would like to announce that singer, Ericka Guitron appears in my independent film, “I Will Never Leave Him.” By VA BLACK DOLPHN ENTERTAINMENT. She is another great musical talent. Underrated too. I would love to see her and Mint Condition or Queen Pen collaborate on some music. Just floating the idea.
