Pastor Jones Calls Off Koran Burning

I haven’t written about Pastor Terry Jones of  Gainesville, Fla., because I didn’t really know what to say. No words can express how stupid his call to burn copies of the Koran on Saturday truly is or how ridiculous he’s making us American Christians look. But as we are less than two days away from the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks I figure I should address the issue. 


Tonight ABC News reported that Jones called off his bonfire of Korans after claiming he has a deal that will move a controversial mosque away from the site of the 9/11 terror attacks. But Imam Abdel Rauf, the Muslim cleric planning the Muslim community center, denied that he has agreed to move his project.
